The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is one of India’s most important national entrance exams for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at National Law Universities (NLUs). The exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities, comprising 22 participating NLUs. Apart from NLUs, several private law colleges also accept CLAT scores.

    For UG Program (BA LLB):
    • Educational Qualification: Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

    • Educational Qualification: Must hold an LL.B degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

    The CLAT 2025 result is expected to be released in January or February 2025. After the result declaration, a merit list will be prepared, and candidates will be invited for the counseling process:
