SLAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The SLAT 2025 exam comprises five key sections designed to test various skills required for a successful law career. Each section contains 12 questions, and the total exam duration is 60 minutes. The five sections are as follows:
Logical Reasoning: This section tests the student’s analytical ability and logical thinking, focusing on arguments and conclusions.
Legal Reasoning: This part of the exam assesses a candidate’s understanding of legal principles and their application in real-life scenarios.
Analytical Reasoning: Candidates are tested on mathematical and logical problem-solving skills, focusing on basic numerical abilities and interpretation.
Reading Comprehension: This section involves passages followed by questions to test the student’s ability to understand and interpret the text.
General Knowledge: This section covers topics such as current affairs, general knowledge, and static information to assess the candidate’s awareness of significant national and international events.
Additionally, there is a Writing Ability Test (WAT), which is a qualifying part of the exam. Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an essay on a given topic during the Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) round.
